Bansko Royal Towers is only 100m from the main gondola station making it a fantastic location for your ski holiday. There is free heated ski/board storage for all guests and it even has its own rental shop with the latest equipment at modest rates.
Bansko is Bulgaria's premier ski resort . It boasts the best snow record and the longest season which lasts 5 months from mid December to mid April. This is aided by 44 snow cannons which cover 80% of the slopes making excellent skiing conditions. There are 65km of marked pistes with exceptional off-piste and x-country skiing and the longest ski run is 16km from the top of Todorka to the gondola base.
The town of Bansko is situated on the river Glazane (left feeder of Mesta River) in the north- eastern foot of Pirin, right bellow the highest and most beautiful part of the mountain. Bansko has developed into a favourite ski & snowboard destination, thanks to the excellent ski facilities combined with the unique architecture and history.
The unique combination of a well developed mountain resort and a living historical town turns it into an elegant place for entertainment. Virtually every house has its own story to tell, which indeed can turn your vacation into a journey to the Bulgarian traditions. The traditional Bansko taverns (called "Mehana"), with their exceptional charm and style offer local atmosphere by their cuisine and good selection of Bulgarian wines. Most of the local "Mehanas" even offer live folk music. Many local cafes and bars offer refreshments. Discos and night clubs work without time limit, and usually close early in the morning.
We also recommend a visit to the famous Rila Monastery and the busy city of Sofia.
The apartment is well planned with a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers in the bedroom, a large cloak/drying room to keep bulky coats and cases out off sight and a clean modern shower room with heated towel rail.
The kitchen is fully equipped for self catering and there is balcony furniture for sitting out with that gin and tonic after a hard day on the slopes.
The complex also has two restaurants, a late bar with live music, a small grocery shop for essentials and a children's play area. Free secure parking is available to guests and there is a 24hr reception for help and information to help your holiday run smoothly.
