This 3rd floor apartment is tastefully decorated showcasing the unique work of some of the local artisans and has stunning views of the Pirin and Rhodopi mountain ranges. The apartment offers a sanctuary to relax from the slopes with it's cosy log fire but is within easy reach of the apres ski bars and the old town of Bansko with its host of cosy mahenas (tavernas) offering the best freshly cooked meals in Bulgaria at very reasonable prices. The Victoria restaurant, just next door, serves superb Italian dishes with a flavour of Bulgaria . Very good value with excellent service.
Situated opposite the apartment is the elegant 5 star Kempinski Arena Hotel. Like most of the new hotels in Bansko it offers it's leisure facilities to non residents for a local fee. No matter what time of year you choose to stay in Bansko there is always plenty to do and see. Staying so close to the old area means you will experience this amazing town and it's authentic ancient architecture, atmosphere and traditions with historic monuments and museums dating back to the 10th century.
In the next village Dobraniska, three miles away, there is a wonderful spa, the huge pool being fed from hot springs and is a complete surprise hidden away in this really authentic working village.
The ancient town of Bansko is set at the foot of the Pirin Mountain and is bordered by the Pirin, Rila and Rhodopa mountain ranges. It has a warm and captivating atmosphere and gives a unique advantage over other ski resorts, providing not only superb ski facilities at reasonable rates but interesting local culture.
The beauty in this area can be enjoyed during all seasons and offers a variety of activities.

During August a traditional Jazz festival is held in the town, providing a fabulous atmosphere and superb music. There are also many wine tasting and folk festivals in the area, Bulgarian wine is very drinkable partly because of the wonderful flavour and partly because of the price!!
This beautiful alpine region in the south west corner of Bulgaria offers the intrigue of it's ancient town, Bansko, together with the Pirin National Park providing superb winter sports facilities for both novice and expert.
This unique combination will ensure interest for tourists during both winter and summer months. The Ski season is from December until mid April when spring brings a multitude of wild flowers. The summers are short and fairly hot providing a wonderful climate for hiking, cycling and sight seeing of the cultural interests that abound within the area.
For the skiing enthusiast the resort offers more than 65 km of marked ski runs of which the highest is at 2,600m and the longest being 16 km running from the highest peak down to the gondola station on the outskirts of the town. More than half the slopes are covered by snow canons to ensure continuous skiing conditions.

When you arrive in Bansko carry on through the town and towards the mountain until you reach the Kempinski Hotel on your right. The Todorini Kuli is opposite, our management company, Balkan PMS is located in the basement. The apartment is on the third floor of A block but the staff will show you to it when you arrive.

We found the apt cosy, well equipped, tastefully decorated and superbly located, primarily for the gondola lift but also for the ice rink and lovely walk to town centre. For families with children and everybody who doesn't want to depend on bus rides it is absolutely ideal. The secure parking is a big plus. Also communication with Bernice was both efficient and pleasant.
We wouldn't think twice about renting this apartment again and will recommend it to all our skiing friends.
Bansko is a lovely place which unlike most ski resorts, offers much more than just skiing and club entertainment. It has history and charm. Thank you for taking such good care about the guests' satisfaction.
Great apt and location
Things were as described and the modern homely feel allowed us to relax in comfort throughout the week. The location was fantastic and although the slopes were busy being New Year, we enjoyed a lovely break thanks to your apt. the helpfulness of Balkan PMS and the Victoria restaurant next door.

We had a very enjoyable stay and your apt was lovely.
I must admit that the resort is very different than any other country like France or Switzerland. I think Bansko is a great destination for family or cheap budget.
Overall, I think you get what you pay for, which is fair.
I would definitely recommend your place as location was excellent and the flat very spacious.
Fabulous time
The location of the apartment was fabulous and it was so handy being so close to the slopes. The ski locker was great and a fantastic size, was a really handy feature.
The apt itself was a really well appointed and there was nothing that we wanted for in terms of bedding, towels cutlery etc. It was lovely and clean and warm on our arrival. the furniture was lovely , the apt was spacious, well laid out and cosy.
On arrival the management company were really welcoming and incredibly helpful throughout our stay.
As a minor point, it might be worth just putting together a little welcome information pack that explains where to get the wood from, where to take the rubbish, where the ski locker is etc.
We have no criticism of the apt at all an we had a fantastic time. We would definitely rent it again if we come back to Bansko.
In terms of cost we were really happy that we paid a little more than our friends just to be so close to the Gondola especially with a young child.
