This is a self catering apartment with standard cooking facilities. Electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee maker.

There is a large dining table with 4 chairs and also 2 high breakfast bar stool chairs. The dining area is a living dining area in one room as most apartments are in Bansko.

The apartment has laminated floors, tiled shower room, tiled entrance area with coat hooks and a small balcony. There is an iron/ironing board and clothes airer. A good hairdryer.

The apartment is in the main block which has an underground passage to the heated indoor pool with integrated Jacuzzi (in the corner of pool), sauna, steam room, gym, table tennis, pool and massage room. Ski lockers are also available in the basement. These facilities are available for a small fee. A card can be purchased from reception for the following rates;

The gondola is a short mini bus ride away which leave from reception around every 15 minutes. There is a 1 Euro charge per person each way for the shuttle bus.

The shuttle bus starts at 08:15 and runs until about 10:30. Return shuttle collection from the Gondola start at about 16:00.

Parking space is available at 3 Euro per car per day.

The parking spaces are not marked per apartment, first come first served but there has never been any over crowding, there is plenty of space.

Bansko is a traditional Bulgarian town, habited by locals all year round making it more than a ski resort. The town has a park, a main square where the Christmas tree is situated and a smaller square further up Pirin street with a statue of Father Paisii author of the Slav-Bulgarian History, along side this square is the Church of Sveta Troitsa. There are also several museums around the town.

The Pirin mountains are part of the Pirin National Park which is great to explore in the summer as well as winter. The ski season runs from 1 Dec to the end of April with a good selection of blue, red and black runs. Piste maps are available and there is skiing in other towns/resorts around Bansko too if you fancy a day trip. Off piste skiing and tours can be booked through Steve at Early Bird Transfers who also operate airport transfers and mountain bike excursions. The main ski school is Bulgarian run, but there is an English run ski school called method ski school. I am also told by other English tourists that intersport ski instructors are very good, they can be found on the high street opposite happy end bar.

The mountains also offer great walking or cycling holidays in the summer and some locals have way marked mountain bike tracks. There are equestrian centres near Bansko to explore by horse back and they offer trips from 3 to 7 days taking in local villages along the way. There is also a Pirin Golf and country club near by that run competitions during the year.

Skidoo/snow mobiles are also available for hire in Bansko, as are quad bikes.
