The wisteria framed entrance to this delightful, self contained studio apartment is accessed by seven stone steps. These open onto the living and kitchen area. This airy loft like space is divided from the sleeping area by a three quarter wall. The artistic lighting atop the wall illuminates the traditional chestnut beam and cotto gabled ceiling. The kitchen and living area is top of the line, contemporary Italian design with unusual mirror flecked marble top, dishwasher, stove top and separate eye level oven. Table and seating for two in front of the traditional brick wood burning fireplace. There is c.d. player and sound system and central heating for the colder months. Each window in the apartment frames a beautiful view.
Casa Tesori is a recently renovated 250 year old farmhouse set on a south facing hill with spectacular mountain views overlooking the historic town of Bagni Di Lucca. The house is nestled in an area lush with vegetation yet open and light. A tranquil and idyllic setting. The self contained apartments are situated at one end of the house and have their own private patio garden with seating and lounge chairs. The recent renovation blends modern design and convenience whilst maintaining the architectural and historical integrity of the building. This perfect position offers a retreat like atmosphere yet close proximity to the town, river, spas, local hiking trails, horse riding and thermal swimming pool. Wherein this thermal springs have been used here since Roman times.
And one of the many attractions of the historic spa town of Bagni Di Lucca is its central location where Lucca, Barga, Castelnuovo, Pisa, Pietrasanta, Viareggio and of course Florence are all within easy reach. This town of Bagni di Lucca was a popular destination for romantic poets such Byron,Keats, Shelley, and Elizabeth and Robert Browning. The area has a lush mountain scenery that is tranquil and very romantic, ideal for hiking and walking. It also has many beautiful mountain villages to explore, beautiful villas and gardens open to the public, Versilian coast with its wide, sandy beaches, Cinque Terra National Park, the ski resort of Abetone which is only a forty five minute drive and is open from December to April. Lastly, it has an easy access to the many festivals, concerts, musical and cultural events of the area throughout the year.

The sleeping area has a queen sized bed with feather pillows and high quality bedding. An antique chestnut armadio with full length mirror stands on the opposite wall and there are two modern bedside table with modern Italian design reading lamps attached to the wall. The floor is original cotto with antique rugs. The artwork on the walls is a mixture of old prints and modern photography. There is led lighting throughout the apartment with dimmer controls for ambiance. The bedroom window has a beautiful view of the mountain landscape and town of Bagni di Lucca. |

The sky lit bathroom is beautifully tiled and designed. Set under a large mirror, the modern sink unit has ample storage for towels and toiletries. The shower has frame less plate glass door and state of the art large, chrome, square rain shower head. There is also a heated (when necessary) towel rail. Hi tech led lighting illuminated the space. |
