On Sunday 29th August pureholidayhomes.com featured in an article in the Guardian that focused on Londoners preparing for the forthcoming Olympics by potentially renting out their property to visiting spectators, journalists and team support. This idea was then picked up by BBC London and they asked us to appear on the evening news to provide expert comment and an example of one of our listed properties that is set to profit from the Games.
As the build up to the Olympics moves towards the forefront of the media, more attention is being paid to the lucrative business of renting out London properties throughout the event. We have a firm belief that Londoners are in the perfect position to gain rental revenue from their home as the high costs and limited availability of hotels will provide a big issue to travelling fans, the media and all those involved in the team spectacular.
Numerous London homeowners are now planning on organising their summer holiday to coincide with the 2012 Olympics so that they can rent their home out whilst they are away. Others are planning on moving in with relatives or partners for the two week period, such is the potential for much needed additional revenue.
The feature on the BBC saw an interview with Joint CEO, Sean Collins, as well as a tour of one of the London properties listed on the site owned by Brenda Grant, a beautiful three bedroom mews house in Woolwich (Property ID 8433).
pureholidayhomes.com has invested in widespread and inventive marketing strategies, to target holidaymakers within the UK, as well as also abroad. However the recent BBC television coverage, as well as regular exposure achieved through printed and online advertising, will firmly illustrate pureholidayhomes.com’s commitment to its property owners.
