The flat is ideally placed for the golf enthusiast with a multitude of golf courses within an hour's drive. Just some of these these include Cardross Golf Club, Helensburgh Golf Club, Dumbarton Golf Club, Vale of Leven Golf Club, The Carrick, Buchanan Castle Golf Club, Strathendrick Golf Club, Clydebank Golf Club, Windyhill Golf Club, Douglas Park Golf Club, Milngavie Golf Club, Clober Golf Club, Hilton Park Golf Cub, Balmore Golf Club, Aberfoyle Golf Club and Campsie Golf Club. Scotland is golfing country and as you would expect, there are many more courses within a couple of hour's drive. These include exclusive and world famous championship courses such as Troon, Muirfield, Turnberry, Prestwick, Gleneagles, Carnoustie and St. Andrews.
This location offers you the peace of the countryside where deer, barn owls, buzzards, kestrels and various other wild life can be seen. The Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park HQ is based in Balloch, Loch Lomond. Around Loch Lomond you can find something for everyone, shopping, Segways, kayaking, salmon and trout angling, clay pigeon shooting, coarse fishing, cycling. There is also horse riding and 4x4 off roading for the more adventurous.
Helensburgh has the historic Hill House by Charles Rennie MacIntosh. Dumabarton hosts the Denny Tank Museum.
If you are interested in Castles, there is Dumbarton Castle practically on your door step. Other Castles within easy reach are Stirling, Edinburgh, Inverary. The drive to Inverary is stunning,it has a jail that you can visit, a maritime museum on the Arctic Penguin and a Victorian Farm, Auchindrain.

Occupancy is from 4pm on day of arrival to 10am on day of departure (subject to unavoidable delays)
You are obliged to leave everything in a clean and tidy condition and in the same place as on your arrival.
You are responsible for any damage done or loss sustained during your stay.
An initial payment of 25% (non-refundable) of the tariff must be paid to confirm a reservation.
The balance should be paid 4 weeks before arrival or if booking within 4 weeks of your holiday start date, payment should be made in full when making the booking.
In the event of non-payment on the due date we reserve the right to cancel the holiday and initial payment is forfeited.
Should you cancel your holiday after booking has been accepted, you will remain liable for the full cost of your holiday.
The customer may be liable for the total hire charge unless 60 days written notice (e-mail is acceptable) is sent to us and acknowledged as received. We agree that, in the event of cancellation, while every effort will be made by us to re-let, if a substitute cannot be found the Customer will be responsible for paying for the period of the let.
We recommend that you have holiday insurance.
We reserve the right not to hand over accommodation to any person/s who is our opinion not suitable to take charge of or cause damage to property, in this case all sums paid will be refunded in full.
Should the Flat not be available due to circumstances beyond our control (eg fire) we cannot guarantee to provide alternative accommodation, in which case all sums will be returned to you in full but you will have no claim against us.
Under no circumstances may more than the maximum number of persons as stated, on your booking form, occupy the property.
An inventory of the contents will be checked at the beginning and end of each holiday period. Any articles found to be missing, broken or damaged will be paid for by you.

From Clydebank/Erskine Bridge A82, travel towards Dumbarton where you will come to a fork in the road towards Dumbarton town centre this is the A814.
Continue on the road to Cardross. In Cardross you will pass a pub on the right hand side called the Muirholm take your first right after this up Darleith Road.
Stay on this road for approximately 1½ miles until you reach a drive way to your right which has two round pillars and gates, carry on up the drive until you reach Darleith Mews.
If travelling via Helensburgh along the A814, just as you enter Cardross take the first turning on the left and carry on up Darleith Road as above.
